About the Author

Nancy Kline has spent 35 years developing her ideas on ‘independent thinking’ into the ground-breaking system the Thinking Environment, a process that works for individuals, groups and organisations to help them achieve their goals with a refreshed outlook. She is the founder and president of the Time To Think organisation.

Time To Think began in 1984 and grew out of Nancy’s consulting and teaching work near Washington, DC, where she had served as a Founding Director of The Thornton Friends School for twelve years and as Director of The Leadership Institute for six years. Now a published author and public speaker, she also teaches Time To Think courses, leads the Time To Think Faculty, is a Fellow of Ashridge Business School, an external tutor at the Henley Business School and delivers keynote presentations around the world. Previous clients have included Time Warner, The BBC and Tate Gallery.

Nancy was born and raised in New Mexico and lives in England with her husband, Christopher Spence.
